The Domaine de Château Blanc is located in the heart of Provence, on the Ile de la Barthelasse,
facing the Papal City of Avignon. The estate is secluded, surrounded by 100 hectares (close to 220 acres) of orchards.
The château, dating from the Renaissance, was built at the request of Charles IX, king of France.
Although now over four hundred years old, it has kept its original architectural features and sense of grandeur. Very luxuriously
restored, the château and its surrounding buildings are in mint condition.
The Domaine is comprised of the château plus five guest and staff houses totaling 1,200 square meters (13,000 square feet)
of living space. The agricultural buildings, garages and workshops represent an additional 1,165 square meters (12,500 sq ft).

Various options are available to make profitable use of the land such as rental to local farmers, an agricultural partnership
with a similar property nearby, and other types of development. The land can also be sold separately.
A few minutes from Avignon with its TGV train station (the TGV takes less than three hours from Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport.),
Château Blanc is also located less than one hour from the scenic and historic regions of the Luberon, Gordes, and the Alpilles.
The charming towns of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Orange, Uzčs, Arles and Nīmes, to name only a few of the jewels of the Provenēal
region, are also within an hour's drive.
