Château Blanc is comprised of a vaulted cellar consisting of 4 rooms and three upper floors totaling about 540 sq m (5,800 sq ft).
It was elegantly renovated in the late 1980's.
On the first floor, on the right, there is a foyer with a salon and office, and, on the left, a dining room, kitchen, pantry and powder room.
The high ceilings are "à caisson", or coffered, a typical feature of French Renaissance. A spiral staircase faces the entrance door.
The second floor or "piano nobile" contains the main salon (about 150 sq m / 1,600 sq ft) part of which is currently used as a state dinning room.
A pantry is located in the west tower and a small living room in the east. The guest powder room is adjacent to the entrance. The high ceilings are coffered.
The third floor includes 5 bedrooms (one with a mezzanine), 3 large bathrooms, a dressing room, a boudoir and a small sitting room.
The electrical, plumbing and heating systems are in perfect order and the appliances are top quality. The marble and wooden
parquet floors, as well as the doors, windows and shutters are all in mint condition. The roof is made of old roman tiles and
is also in excellent condition.
The front of the château looks out on an enclosed and gated, formal garden.
The architect, Mr. de Sacy, has designed a master plan, should a buyer want to install an elevator and central air conditioning
or do other modifications to the buildings. If the future owner does not want to keep the orchards surrounding the château,
various layouts for an enlarged garden can also be suggested. This architect works with a local management team that can
implement any changes requested by a new owner and oversee the various contractors' compliance with the plans and the prices
charged for their work.
